Mmm, if you love texture you will love this book! The cover base is those squishy brown amazon bags (yay recycling) which are both really sturdy AND super flexibile, with a delightful mild paper crackle sound when you play with them. I dug into my stash of luxurious upcycled fabrics, sourced from..everywhere. Scraps of my costuming, thrifted and gifted, hand dyed wedding dress buttons (aren't they cool?) and so much more. The tie closure is silk, and in side I have whopping 136 pages of papers. I used a wide variety of papers - hand painted, vintage books, typewriter paper, water color paper ,handmade paper,  honestly EVERYTHING in here. There's a great mix of plain, ready-to be written on paper and artsy paper to please the eye, so you can doodle, staple, write, mangle, burn, paint, honestly do whatever you wish. I sewed some paper pockets and stuffed them full of a few treasures including playing cards and tarot cards.
